Its like that upcoming sequel to Toy Story. Its a sequel that shouldn't be made yet because of the almighty $$$ we are getting it anyways. One would just hope they'd try and make a good movie out of it. I was wrong.
Awhile back I kinda compared the Taken series to Die Hard and my comparisons are correct. Taken 3 was the Die Hard 5. It took everything that made Liam Neeson cool and badass and turn him into a bland and forgettable action hero.
You know I should have seen the stink coming when the trailers gave away Jean Grey getting Fridged. Where is Hugh Jackman and his time traveling powers when you need him?

Like the number one pick its the movie where the trailer is more entertaining than the movie itself. That teaser from Spectre was pretty suspenseful. Yet oddly enough when I walked into the theater I had a bad feeling. And that isn't the feeling I should get from a movie that came off of the awesomeness that was Skyfall.
Spectre was a movie that was trying to be something else other than a Bond movie and it wasted the talent of Christopher Waltz in the process. Hell it wasted the talent of just about everybody involved and it was the one Bond film that just make me want to countdown the moment when I'd get a new James Bond. And I happen to like what Craig is doing with the character but honestly Spectre is a sign that he's losing steam.

Like Fury Road there is no surprise this made it to the tippy top. Now I loooooved the first Avengers movie. It was everything I wanted in a superhero movie and more. I looooved Winter Soldier. So when Age of Ultron was going to follow up Winter Soldier I had my fingers crossed that it could be the light I needed to brighten the dark disappointment that was Phase 2. I was unfortunately wrong.
And the problem is I really don't know who to blame on this. One could say Whedon but I've seen the first Avengers movie and he's better than this. I could say the execs behind the scenes. Whomever was responsible for the disappointment that was Age of Ultron I must say...Bravo. You turned what could have been a memorable villain into a complete joke! And you happen to make the whole Avengers roster, sans Vision, unlikable in the process.
Honestly this movie is the one movie in the MCU that made me hate the MCU and to those who'd find some enjoyment out of it. Good for you.
Hell it made me strongly consider taking a hiatus from the MCU for awhile.
At least I'd have Ant-Man to be the movie to leave the MCU on some kind of good note.
